Hi, gang. I'm Troll Princess, and seeing as how I usually suck at the whole "describe yourself" thing, I figured that the best way to do it was through quotage.

For example, this is me ...

On my aspirations: "You learn something new every day -- today I learned that when I grow up, I want to be just like me, but taller."

On the problems of drinking: "You try typing when you're drunk. I keep debating whether I should keep using my fingers or whether I should give up all pretense and smash my face repeatedly into the keyboard."

On my love of animals: "Last night coming home from night school, my mother hit a baby deer with her car and had to leave it dying on the side of the road.

Tactful response: Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Tasteless response: Damn it. I could have made a nice sandwich."

On behaving in the movie theater: "I was also sorely tempted to open up the door to the theater where "From Justin to Kelly" was showing and scream at the top of my lungs, just to see what the echo would sound like."

On being a big sister: "And speaking of wasted, how fair is it that I got to be the smart one and my little brother got to be the one with all of the tolerance for alcohol? That little bastard drank an entire bottle of Southern Comfort last night. Just in case you were wondering, his liver is desperately looking to time share with three other livers. On my family: "And just to give you some idea of what a day with my family is like, my cousin's husband offered to let my mom see him naked after he got out of the shower at their house, my mom complained loudly at the baseball game about my father throwing his nuts at her, and after my mom told my cousin she wanted to go have sex on the beach in Ocean City, my cousin started telling her how sand in the bathing suit area was probably going to make a hell of a lot of pearls if my parents tried that."

On everybody telling me I'm cute: "I'm going to have to start making my cute work for me. Maybe I could just bat my eyelashes and get everyone I know to send me all of their pennies. Then when I roll them up and take them to the bank, and they ask me what they're for, I can say, "This is my cute tax. People pay me to be this adorable.""

On my cats: "My cat just walked by with one of my thongs dangling from his neck. Oh, great. Now he's not only stealing my underwear, he's wearing it, too. Okay, I'll accept his alternative lifestyle, but I'll be damned if he thinks he'll be borrowing my lipstick."

On writing fanfic: "Don't mind me. I like to grab expected plot points by the ankles, flip 'em upside down, and shake 'em until loose change falls out of their pockets. You haven't seen screwing with canon until you've seen me gleefully rodger the sonofabitch on top of the salad bar in full view of everybody at Burger King while yodeling the theme to "The Gummi Bears"."

A WARNING: This is a liberal journal. I hate the Bush administration, and I'm going to say so repeatedly (although I have taken to lj-cutting my political posts, so that anyone who wants to avoid them on their friends list can feel free to skip them). If you're conservative and/or Republican, go ahead and friend me, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't start a flame war in my comments. Feel free to state your opinion, but be polite ... I personally try not to respond to conservative posts on other people's LJs to avoid arguments, and I'd appreciate it if you'd extend me the same courtesy. Thank you. :)

ANOTHER WARNING: It's my journal and I'll say whatever the hell I want. Funny how that works. ;) With that in mind, I reserve the right to ban anybody who uses my journal to behave belligerently, to insult other readers, or to start flame wars or arguments in the comments. I try not to keep things too heavy around here (real life has enough seriousness as it is) and I use this journal specifically to vent and enjoy myself. DO NOT REPOST MY STORIES WITHOUT MY EXPRESS PERMISSION. With the exception of my RPS fanfic, as long as my name is attributed to my stories, I will almost always grant permission for stories to be archived elsewhere. However, I would really appreciate if you respected my wishes on this matter. (And no, my mind will not be changed regarding the reposting of my RPS fic. It's staying here, and it's staying locked.)
